I like the look of this operating system for tablets. It really takes cloud computing to the next level and hooks up with Google services in a very clever way. It's good to see that the developers of Android are also looking to help manufacturers out there create a competitor to some of Apple's products, which, let's face it, are great, but also overly-hyped.

I've recently being toying around with the latest alpha release of Drupal 7. I have to say, thus far I'm liking the look of the interface, and I appreciate the fact that there's been a realisation in the Drupal community that an easy-to-use UI and UX is what's going to help this very powerful CMS grow in future. 

I really admire the way News24 have embraced their twitter account @MyNews24. It's a really useful twitter account to follow for me, but, to my surprise, I came across the above slightly controversial tweet of theirs (which I retweeted and made a comment that I thought it was a "bit of a right-wing statement").

I recently had the opportunity to attend a panel discussion on the future of journalism. The event took place at The Shelter in Dubai, and was held in lieu of SAE Institute launching its Digital Journalism course.

Gotta love Google - they come up with the most brilliant ideas, and I think to date, this Pacman game on their landing page has been the best idea they've ever come up with.
