I’m the editor of ITWeb Africa, a business technology website covering ICT news on the continent. My articles for ITWeb can be viewed here. Prior to working at the Johannesburg-based ITWeb, I was a technology journalist living and working in Dubai for four years. I moved to the United Arab Emirates in 2008 to work as the deputy editor of a PC and consumer electronics magazine called WINDOWS Middle East, printed by the Middle East’s largest publisher ITP. I also wrote widely for ITP.net, an online business technology portal focused on the Middle East: my articles are here. In 2010, I then moved into to newspaper publishing, working for a Dubai-based daily tabloid 7DAYS, where I was the web content manager and launched a section in that newspaper called ‘Tech Talk’. In mid-2011, I joined Abu Dhabi’s The National to work as their technology reporter on the business desk. You can read my articles for that paper by clicking here. I also have a keen interest in developing websites, as I studied web design and web development at Unisa in addition to completing my BA Journalism degree at the University of Johannesburg.
